ISO 45001: Foundation

The ISO 45001: Foundation course provides participants with a solid understanding of the requirements, structure, and practical application of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&SMS) based on ISO 45001. ISO 45001 is published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and is the international benchmark for managing occupational health and safety risks. The standard is designed to help organizations prevent work-related injury and ill health, ensure safe and healthy workplaces, and continually improve OH&S performance. This Foundation-level course goes beyond basic awareness and introduces learners to core ISO 45001 clauses, hazard identification, risk and opportunity management, leadership responsibilities, worker participation, and performance evaluation. It prepares participants to support OH&SMS implementation, internal audits, and continual improvement initiatives, or to progress to ISO 45001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certifications.
