ISO 45001: Transition

The ISO 45001: Transition course is designed to support organizations and professionals in transitioning existing Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OH&SMS)such as those based on OHSAS 18001 or earlier OH&S frameworksto ISO 45001, the current international standard for occupational health and safety management. ISO 45001 is published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and adopts a risk-based, leadership-driven, and worker-participative approach to managing OH&S risks. Transitioning to ISO 45001 requires changes in governance, leadership accountability, worker consultation, risk management, and system integration. This course focuses on gap analysis, transition planning, documentation updates, cultural change, and audit readiness, enabling participants to manage the transition efficiently while maintaining operational continuity and compliance.
