Overview

FX Risk Mastery: The Procert Certified Trader Program is a single, end-to-end certification combining market fundamentals, risk management, broker vetting, technical analysis, and trading automation literacy into one continuous learning path. Designed for learners across Africa, the program addresses the region's fastest-growing but least-served gap in the retail forex market: not access to trading, but access to credible, non-conflicted education on how to trade responsibly.

Unlike broker-provided "education," which carries an inherent incentive to encourage more trading, this program is built and delivered independently by Procert Academy, a registered training and certification provider. Graduates leave with a practical, examinable understanding of risk management and broker vetting — not just theory — and earn a credential that signals real competency to brokers, employers, and fellow traders.

Learning Objectives

  • Explain how the forex market functions and how currency pairs, spreads, and leverage work

  • Apply disciplined risk management: position sizing, stop-loss placement, and drawdown control

  • Independently verify a broker's regulatory legitimacy before depositing funds

  • Read charts and critically evaluate trading strategies and backtested performance

  • Understand how automated trading and signal-following tools work, and how to assess their claims

  • Earn the Procert Certified FX Risk Practitioner credential
